Voice Lessons
Voice instruction includes areas such as singing technique, vocal health, and expression. Students will learn the fundamentals needed to sing in a variety of styles and genres. Lessons and repertoire are customized to fit the student's ability level and interest. In addition to singing, students will develop skills in music theory and sight-singing. Voice students will have the opportunity to perform at the semester recitals, as well as, some optional vocal music competitions and festivals in the surrounding areas.
Lesson Information

Students will need their own instrument to practice on at home. They can choose from an acoustic piano (preferred) or electronic keyboard. When choosing an electronic keyboard, look for the option of a full size keyboard (88 keys) and weighted keys, if possible. During in person lessons, students will use the piano at the studio.

Students will also be asked to purchase lesson books, which usually cost approximately $30.00, depending on the level of development and lesson choice. The teacher will instruct on which books to purchase.
